ate 2007, my company, Jahn Investment Advisors, was acquired by StanCorp Investment Advisers. The acquisition should be completed in late 2008. In such circumstances, the SEC requires that I remove Jahn Investment Advisors' web site as active pages on the web. This new home page will evolve in the months ahead into a personal web site as I find the time amidst completing my facilitation of the transition of my business to StanCorp.

ust what will that update look like? Well, 2008 looks like a great new year of grand adventures for Don and me in a multitude of endeavors. Here is a list of organization I expect to be actively involved with in the coming years:

Financial Woman's Association / SF
An organization of 500 women leaders working in financial services in the Greater Bay Area. I was honored as their Financial Woman of the Year in 2000. I now participate in their scholarship and mentor programs for Graduate Students.

University of Wisconsin Stevens Point, College of Professional Studies
My alma mater, where I hope to find opportunities to work with their students in the Division of Business and Economics and the School of Education, while continuing to live in San Francisco.

Financial Planning Association
An organization of which I served as President and am scheduled to make a presentation at their NorCal Conference in May 2008. I am also involved in their mentoring program for young Financial Planners.

Institute of Cultural Affairs / US
An organization I have been a part of for over 40 years and where I recently served on their National Board of Directors for 5 years.

Institute of Cultural Affairs / International
A great sister organization doing fantastic work around the world.

Woman Across Generations (website under development)
A not-for-profit organization based in San Francisco that I co-founded, that deals with teen women issues.
